And
There's More!
There
are many more advanced KML features that we incorporate into your
GeoDock. Our carefully crafted KML files are designed to increase
the visibility of your GeoDock with search engines at the same time
increasing the viewer's understanding of your business.
Atom
Feeds:
When search engines such as Google index the Internet they
can now index information that has been geographically tagged. This
means searchers can find your GeoDock (or individual features
inside your GeoDock) as part of their geo search results. We can
even offer you the Atom-code and instructions to include this feature
on HTML webpages where your GeoDock will be linked from, tagging
this page geographically as well.
Zone
Overlay:
Lets say you have a business that offers a delivery service or has
call out charges that vary depending on the distance from your business
premises. Well, 'Zone Overlays' offer you the ultimate way to communicate
these charges to customers in a visual landscape. A semi transparent,
colour coded graphic overlay is created and placed right on the
map. Your customers just type in their address and see which colour
they fall under. Zone Overlays are custom designed for your business
along with a linked information balloon; overlays can be any shape
or colour you desire.

Google
Earth Features:
Inside Google Earth your customers will find every feature
available inside Google Maps but with three key differences.
1: Your GeoDock appears inside the
world's most advanced 3D earth browser Google Earth allowing
you to take advantage of GeoDock
Bricks & Mortar should you decide to add the
final touch of reality.
2: The left 'Places' panel offers all
your key features in the form of a 'Features List'. Rollover effects
appear with your placemark and viewers can easily email all your
features or individual features to others.
3: Each feature inside the 'Places'
panel can carry its own information balloon, viewpoint, Atom Feed
and more.
